JLG Extended Keyboard Layout 1.1

If you are the kind of person that goes by what Hollywood would have you think, then you probably believe that everyone in the entire world speaks English and that if you are parachuted in the most remote location, the locals will understand your English if only you speak it slowly enough.

This is not the case. There are a myriad of languages out there – and a myriad of computer users that speak those languages. JLG Utilities has come up with a software application called JLG Extended Keyboard Layout to help these computer users while writing in their native language.

Normally you would have to add another language to the language bar if you would like to type something down in Romanian for example. This is because Romanian uses characters like ă or â or ş. By using JLG Extended Keyboard Layout you need not switch. This is because JLG Extended Keyboard Layout extends the functionality provided by the US keyboard to include special characters.

You will be able to use characters from a wide variety of languages: Albanian, Azeri, Bosnian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Faeroese, Finish, French, Gaelic, German, Hungarian, Icelandic, Irish, Italian, Latino, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Maori, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish.

The software weighs in at considerably under 1MB, so download it should take but a second. Installing it will go just as fast – it took me about 4 clicks. Activating it is another question. You have to access the Language bar and add the JLGv11 keyboard.

JLG Extended Keyboard Layout can be used free of charge for as long as you want. This is possible because the software is freeware. Download it, install it, and use it without having to pay a dime in return.
